And I loved it! Secret Daughter is a novel written by Shilpi Somaya Gowda. The story takes place in India and in California.  This novel is about adoption, cultural shocks and family. The strengh of this novel is its characters.Each one is attaching and realistic. I simply loved this novel because it allowed me to discover India while reflecting on topics that interest me.
